Abe Lebovic approaches therapy as both an art and a science, recognizing the unique complexities of each individual’s inner life.

He believes in allowing clients to guide their own path to healing, meeting each client where they are and providing gentle guidance to help them connect with their true selves.

Abe’s goal is to empower clients to take charge of their inner lives, helping them recognize and manage maladaptive behaviors and defense mechanisms before they arise. He has extensive experience and is particularly skilled in supporting clients dealing with end-of-life issues and substance use disorders. He is adept at navigating identity crises, especially for those grappling with their cultural or religious roots.

Abe incorporates various therapeutic methods, including Internal Family Systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and narrative therapy, to address the unique needs of each client. He encourages his clients to embrace playfulness and his holistic approach emphasizes wellness in all aspects of life — physical, psychological, and spiritual.

Fluent in Hebrew and Yiddish, Abe brings a deep sense of empathy and non-judgmental care to his practice, informed by his background in pastoral care, hospice, and spiritual care. Outside of therapy, Abe enjoys reading, playing tennis, engaging in health and wellness activities, and pursuing his interests in guitar and theater.

Abe Lebovic works with clients who are in their late teens or older and is currently accepting new clients.
